Food labelling – preparation, review and translation
Food labelling must comply with the Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers as well as the national legislation of the target country. Certain product groups – such as food supplements, foods for specific groups and alcoholic beverages – are also subject to specific legislation.
Medfiles has extensive expertise in the details and practical implementation of labelling requirements for foods and food supplements. - Compliance of food additives and flavourings in the relevant food category and their labelling format
- Compliance of vitamins and minerals used for fortification and their labelling format

Food supplements are regulated under food law but are also subject to specific legislation. Our team continuously monitors regulatory developments and provides up-to-date support for product updates, labelling and marketing of food supplements.
